Alabama-Saltwater Fishing Charters Getaway Charters has been offering some of the finest Alabama deep sea fishing in Orange Beach, Alabama for over 10 years. We are located near Gulf Shores Alabama and Pensacola Florida. We welcome families as well as small groups up to six people. You may choose a half day trip or our premium 12 hour trip. We make it our goal to get you to the fish and make your fishing charter one that you will remember. Our 6 and 8 hour trips are popular with families, usually catching red snapper and triggerfish. We often receive some added entertainment as dolphin are seen swimming around the boat. I have a very patient and courteous deckhand who is great with kids. A more serious trip is a 10 hour, usually catching red snapper, triggerfish, vermillion snapper and sometimes amberjack and grouper. The 12 hour trip has been our big hit, catching many large grouper up to 48lbs, amberjack up to 78lbs and some large snapper. We catch variety on this trip. There is always a chance of catching a king mackeral or wahoo on any of our trips. We do 12 and 14 hour offshore trolling trips for king mackeral, wahoo, dolphin(mahi mahi) and always a chance to hook up a tuna or a marlin. I also do 24 hour overnight tuna trips to the oil platforms 70 - 80 miles offshore, but can only accommodate 4 anglers due to sleeping space.
