At Cedar Creek Bait and Tackle, Tom reports current water temps are 68 degrees. By next week, the tog and stripers should be ready to bite. Anglers are catching decent sea bass and small tog from the reef sites with a few triggerfish, porgy, and small croaker being thrown into the box.

Flounder are being caught in and around the Brown Shoal. Perch are also running in the Mispillion River. Brett Ammon fished Site #6 on Sunday, coming ashore with several 15” croaker and 6 sea bass in the 1-2 lb range. Tom is carrying live spot and green crab for the fall season.
