 At Cedar Creek Bait and Tackle, Tom reports the weeks’ weather prevented most anglers from leaving the shore. A few reports of rock being caught have come in, you can read literally thousands of stripers but they just can’t be enticed to bite. As of this writing, with a couple more cool nights, it’ll be right, the water temp should be perfect.
Guy Sterlicchi, fishing off Fowler Beach, caught white perch last weekend. Cole Hutchison put a 23” flounder in the box from the Brown Shoal. John Jackson, the Tog Master, and a buddy, spent an hour fishing reef site Sunday morning. The pair came ashore with their limit of tog and one trigger fish, the biggest trigger Tom has seen all year.
