At Cedar Creek Bait and Tackle, Tom reports with the recent NE blows, stripers should be feeding heavily and the tog bite came on strong last week. Weather permitting, GET OUT AND FISH!
On Sunday, October 11, John Jackson, the Tog Master, and a friend, came in with their limit of tog from Site #6 and a big trigger fish. Mike and Shannon Babcock fished Site #7 with great success. Shannon caught her 1st tog, 3.46 lbs and the father/daughter team came ashore with one flounder, one blue, two sea bass, and two tog. Capt. Tom headed out with Shawn McCue and Henry Boyd to Brandywine on Monday and the trio came ashore with their limit of tog. Shawn boated his first citation tog at 7 lbs 6 oz with a 15 ½” girth. One Tues, Tom went out again with Shawn and Pat Morini and they came ashore with 27 tog, one nice porgy and two sea bass from 14’ Light and Site #6. Pat was high hook of the day with his biggest tog to date, just shy of citation at 6 lbs 13 oz.
