June 29, 2009 Naples, Marco Island, The Ten Thousand Islands Backwater and Flats Fishing

Today it was very windy with the west wind just not letting up. Fishing between Naples and Marco Island has been productive and the water has been clear for sight fishing. Today it was tough with the flyrod as the wind was steady 15kts. I was able to find some spots out of the wind and Dale Greene from Ohio connected with snook and redfish. The snook were in the 22-24" range and the red was 25". All caught on my brown and gold clouser.
