Cajun Fishing Charters: Louisiana speckled trout on FIRE!!!!!!!!!!

The weather has been so hot this past month that the speckled trout have been just wanting to get in my ice chest to cool off. We have stopped catching fish on the beaches south of Houma. The trout are ganging up in the deeper water around the oil structures in 8-10' of water. They have been real partial to live croakers. This weekend I had a group of anglers and we managed to catch 50 nice specks from 13" to 4lb. If you have not experienced LA fishing you are missing out on the best in the world. They don't call us sportsman's Paradise for nothing.
Tip: when carolina rigging use this shortcut. Pass your line 3 times through an egg sinker and just tie your hook 16" below it. We hang up a bunch and this saves on time and tackle...
