Just a short report!! I just got off the phone with a good friend who called to let me know that he fished today at Kure Beach.
He told me that he had never in his life caught the whiting's like he did today.
They were big and bit all evening as fast as he could catch them.
So, grab some shrimp and some #6 hooks and go fill yourself a cooler with some of the best eating fish that swims this time of year near the beach!!!
We have caught some nice whiting on the near shore structures here as well with plenty of Grey Trout, and an occasional Big Red Drum bite.
I heard a fisherman say two weeks ago that it was his last trip for the year and he was going to put the boat up until spring.
That's a shame, he's going to miss some great winter fishing.
Just got all my Bluefin Tuna permits renewed and we are gearing up for the Tuna season that will be here soon.
