Beaver Lake & Holiday Island

Oct 20th has brought the striped bass to the top here on Beaver Lake, With some good fish being caught freelining and weighting gizard shad with 14 to 24 ft of line under ballons away from boat from point 5 to Praire creek off the flats and in the deep coves. Keep a big redfin tied on to throw to surfacing fish.

Table Rock Lake and up the White River here at Holiday Island is cooling fast and putting the white and black bass on a feeding frenzy with some good action on the surface. Were catching crappie from 5 to 8 foot deep on jigs and minnows. If you like trout its only a 8 mile boat ride to be in the river where were catching good rainbows drifting and bottom fishing with power bait and worms. Good lures to troll or cast are small rapala countdowns and roostertails.
