Bass Fishing Guide Report Lake Monroe /St johns River Florida

We finally have a real cold front!!! Air Temps have reached the upper 40's
for the first time sense last spring.After 10 days of record high's in the
mid to upper 90's.This cold front should kick the bass into gear as the water
temps will drop into the low 70's.The past few weeks the water temps have been
running low 80's at daybreak and mid to upper 80's by afternoon which has
had the bass completely shut down.Lake Monroe will continue to be tough the
next couple months until the spawn gets started but the main river fish should
become very active..Water levels are still high but are dropping quickly.
This will bunch the river bass up on main river points and shellbeds and we
should see some schooling action soon.
