SAM RAYBURN:

Lake is the lowest I have seen it. There are humps and sandbars all over the Lake so be careful and watch your electronics.

Water is stained in most of the Lake except Dam areas but still looks great.

Water temps are about 67 am to 72 pm. Bass were running from runts to 5 lbers. The bass were hitting finnessee worms around the grass in watermelon reds. You could split shot them or wacky or lightly Texas rig them also.

Bass were also hitting Texas rigged 7 inch plum and plum-apple worms around the grass.

Clients enjoyed some great weather this week with 7-10 keepers per day and about 15 runt bass. It was a tough bite with Bass not chasing but rather in a finnessee mood.


LAKE PALESTINE;

Lake is almost full pool and in great shape. i have no Bass report this week because I was busy with clients chasing those slab crappies. Yes you heard right. I am beginning to Guide for crappie on Lake Palestine also.

Crappie were hitting minnows worked in about 23 foot on creek channels. Water temps were running in the low 70's.
