Well I have been on the water so much for the last 2 weeks I think I am growing scales.

Lake Fairfield: Water temps are in the mid- 60's and the Bass are spawning and really in all phases of the spawn.

The Bass are in the reeds and out to the first break to about 8 feet. I went out 3 days with the Morgans, which consist of the Father Don Morgan and His 2 sons which are Brian and Gregg Morgan. Wednesday the cloudy day produced one of the best days this year with over 50 Bass and 4 were over 6 lbs. The high pressure and cold fronts with bright Sunshine for the next 2 days slowed the Bass down to 22 Bass Thursday up to 6 lbs. and Friday 28 Bass to 5.5 lbs.

Bass are hitting Green Pumpkin Pepper Nichols salty mother sinkers, which are like a 5 inch senko type bait and Grubs worked Texas rigged. Water melons were good colors for the Grubs.

Lake Palestine Bass were good to 5.5 lbs. and were hitting on Texas rigged Nichols Salty mother sinkers in Green Pumpkin Pepper worked in the back creek systems along timber and wood.

Lake Palestine is about to bust lose with some of the greatest fishing for Bass of the year as water temps move from Mid- 50's to low 60's. Water is in great shape.
