Bassin' in the Florida Everglades |
The canals in the Florida Everglades have been on fire lately for catching trophy largemouth bass. We have had some success down on L-67 when launching out of Holiday park but it does not seem to matter where you go; we are catching them as long as we are using the right baits. We have been catching the better fish in the morning on the Zara Spook in baby bass color and the Gambler cane toads in black and the pearl/white colors just inside the lily pad line. The triple digit days are finally back with the occasional 7 or 8 pounder in the mix and should continue with the low water levels in the canals. With Lake Okeechobee being as low as it is a lot of the guys are coming down here to the glades to fish. It has been taking 30 pounds with a 5 fish limit to get near the winners of almost every tournement in the last 3 months. Visit us on the web or call us at (888)8-GLADES for a great day of South Florida Everglades bassin'!
Tight Lines,
Capt. Steve |
