SAM RAYBURN; Water temps are in the mid 80's. The morning bite has been really good lately for about the first 3 hours then having to buckle down and work for the Bass. Topwaters have been off lately with the plastics getting the best action.
Texas rigs with creature baits in watermelons and green pumpkin have been working well fished in 6-8 feet in Grass and around wood cover also. Flipping in the trees around deeper channel swings has been really good.
Wacky's fished around hydrilla caught just as well. watermelons were also good colors for those pressured Bass this last week.
Carolina rigs were working from daylight on in 8-25 feet working creature baits same colors and flukes. be sure and give us a call for a Sam Rayburn Guide Trip.

LAKE PALESTINE: Water temps also in the mid 80's with Bass hitting plastic frogs, buzzbaits, and poppers early then going to Texas rigged Stinko's by Phantom Tackle or Nichols Lures Salty mother Sinkers in the darker colors such as blackberry, and junebugs. Spinnerbaits are working well after the Sun gets up also with Chartruse/White combos in 3'8 ounce-double willow leaf blades worked around wood or grass.
Carolina rigs wroked off main Lake points and Island breaks have been producing some good Bass also.
