Weiss Lake Guide Fishing Report 06/10/2008 |
Crappie Fishing Report Date: 06/10/08
Crappie fishing is fair... - Crappie are holding on deep brush and stumps, pretty much on their summer pattern. Working structure in 12 to 14 feet with a live bait bottom bumping rig is working good. Work creek and river channel ledges looking for any structure and work it slow. This bite is better in the early morning and evening hours. Still a few good crappie coming from shooting deeper docks in 10 to 12 feet of water using a Southern Pro Stinger in Popsicle color. Also good fish are still being caught at night fishing the bridges at Cowan and Spring Creek... "Good Fishin"
Bass Fishing Report Date: 06/10/08
Bass Fishing is good... - Bass are being caught on both deep and shallow patterns. Good Bass are being caught working channel ledges with a Fat Free Shad crank bait in Citrus color in 8 to 10 feet of water. Cutthroat Lures have been working good over the last few days also for shallow Bass holding on structure. A 3/8 oz Cutthroat Lemon Shad spinner bait has been doing real well around shallow lay downs and shaded seawalls. Also Flipping a 3/8 oz Cutthroat Jig in colors Old School and Coosa Love have also been doing well around shallow docks. Spotted Bass bite has been pretty good also using a Cutthroat Scorpion Head with a Zoom trick worm working shallow rocky points and isolated stumps. "Good Fishin"
