Dear Joe,
I am writing to personally thank you for working with me on my
recent listing in your guide directory. Being that I am new to the internet and
do not have any web experience I more than appreciate all the help and attention
you gave me. I never expected you to do what you did, you have earned a customer
for life.
When I am running charters the number one thing I stress to my Mate
and others involved with the charter service is to always and I mean ALWAYS be
courteous to the customers, be professional, and treat them with total respect.
I tell my employees to do this and the customer will always come back. These
are my guidelines for running my business and obviously you have similar guidelines
because you treated me with total respect, you didn't laugh at my non computer
skills, and you went above and beyond anything I ever expected you to do.
On top of all that I am actually getting some bookings from my listing. It
is the best 90. dollars I ever spent on advertising. The day of this letter
is April 17, 2005 and from when I signed up on January 20, 2005 I have booked
2 charters with 1 more possible next month. Also I especially like the control
panel for my ad, no other site I looked at had this and I really like the idea
of being able to track my ad hits.
Not to ramble on I would like to just Thank You again for helping me get
set up and to show my thanks I will recommend you to all my fellow Captains that
may be looking to advertise on the internet. It has certainly been a winning
proposition for me and I wish the Mrs. would have suggested it sooner.
Thank You Joe,
Sincerely Captain Big Mike Barden,
Ocean View Guide Service
We couldn't be more pleased with our new charter website Joe.
Setting up the online booking page is the best move we EVER made. The convenience
and ease at which we schedule new bookings is spectacular, I wish we did this
5 years ago. It is so nice to be able to direct possible customers to the
new site where they can see our boat and fishing pictures.
Also I am sure you'll be glad to hear we have had a ton of compliments
on the site. I think we made a few of our competitors jealous. Ha-Ha
Thanks from all of us on the Miss Okey Dokey, Capt. Mack
I tried to get my fishing guide website to the top of
the search ranks for over 2 years with no success and no internet customers.
I was beginning to think having a website for my guide service was just a
big waste of time. I spent over a thousand dollars trying to get
my website known by purchasing search engine ads and I even advertised on
a few local websites that were just as unknown as mine was - I should have
known better than that. I still had no success because folks just don't click
those little ads from the search engines, at least not for me.
I was skeptical at first about listing my boat with your website
but because your site specialized in guide and charter listings and had the
best search rankings I went ahead and bought a listing and to my relief I
certainly made the right decision. In two years I don't think I got one booking
from my own site or the search engine ads and in the first week after listing
in your directory I got a six man crew that booked an offshore trip. That easily
paid for my listing on your site Joe and since then I have had 3 more trips booked
by customers from your directory.
I'd just like to Thank You Joe and say keep up the good work!

After purchasing my listing in FishingReporters charter boat
fishing directory and being placed on your fishing network 'I started receiving
out of town customers', something I was not accustomed to as my service
has mostly been just a local service. The added bookings has helped fill in
some vacant days and when the next Striper season starts I am going to upgrade
my listing in order to reach more out of town fishermen. For the money spent
the payoff is really worth it, I have recommended you to a few of my Captain
buddies that I run with.

...I couldn't get my fishing site anywhere near the top
of the search ranks. Because of all your top listings and first page listings
on the search rankings it is just like having my own site there. When anglers
search for charter boat listings my site is no where to be found but your
site is at the top and with my listing customers can at least find my site
now. I haven't had any bookings yet but I just got my pictures up a week
ago and my Captains control panel says my ad has had over 60 hits and over
30 click thrus to my site in two weeks so I know customers are at least
seeing my website.
Anyway I just wanted to thank you for all your help you showed me with
resizing the pictures and all. Thanks Joe

...FishingReporters fishing guide directory is one of the
better guide listing sites on the web today. The amount of detail you can
include with your charter boat listing is incredible.

"The help you gave me on creating the new fish icon for
my business was incredible"
Jesse Hargrove - Hatteras, NC USA
...After speaking
with you on the telephone one time I knew you were a man of your word.
I know the web site work you did for me was not that big but you still
made me feel like I was a big customer and I wanted you to know how much
I appreciated that. You gave my job a personal touch, something most don't
do nowadays...
