FishInSight takes the common place fishing log to the next level by incorporating GPS communications and geographic mapping. This creates not only a record of what you caught, where you caught it and with whom, but also automatically overlays your personal waypoints on your computer charts for the next time you want to return.

Other features of FishInSight include:
- Sun, Moon and Tide information is available based on your nominated position and is calculated for all catches automatically.
- Incorporated Solunar Tables. Graph and review solunar data for your nominated waypoint, either by month or day.
- Flexible graphing capabilities allow the user to review all facets of their fishing experiences. Together with advanced table filtering, analyse the details of your catches, removing those ‘best fishing’ myths.
- Because fishing and fish are different throughout the world, all relevant data can be customised to suit your location eg: Add your own fish species specific to your location. Other data includes conditions such as wind, wind direction, water current and temperature. Equipment such as rods, reels, line types, bait & lures can be configured.
- Store your favourite photographs and other images.
- Manage your favourite fishing spots through PC connection of your GPS to FishInSight (Support for Garmin and Magellan, and Lowrance/Eagle GPS devices).
- Length to weight calculator available for each of your specified species.
- Log and monitor your fishing equipment and maintenance costs.
- Your GPS waypoints position over your map(s) to provide graphical mapping of your catches using your own maps specific to your location. Any image can be scanned or imported into the program.
